It took me several years to realize some of the symptoms that my children had as a children that everyone missed. They can be so settle as just a slightly flatter part of your baby's head, preference to look to one side, slight facial asymmetry or weakness in one extremity and it might mean they need special evaluation and might need a therapy.Even these small changes can have a profound effect on how is your breastfeeding going. Everything in our body in interconnected. Your tounge is connected to your toes. Did you know that? If you notice something, talk to someone. I can finally introduce my little sweet girl Alicia Maria. She was born 7/9/22 weighing 7lb 3oz and measuring 21.5 inches. We are beyond blessed with the support we received. Thank you for all the phone calls, messages, gifts, meals and all. We couldn’t do it all without the support of our family and friends! It was an intense first week. We are in love and enjoy getting to know each other. I can’t wait to share more of our breastfeeding journey!

I’m excited to partner with Blooming Pediatrics to offer infant feeding support at their new office. It was great to support families there last Monday. You can check out the new office and ask me any questions today Wednesday at 5 PM. More details below. Blooming Pediatric & Family Nurse Practitioners, PLLC will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration at 5:00PM on May 25, 2022 at their new office at 1 Oxford Crossing in New Hartford. Press and the public are invited. The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce, the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce and the New Hartford Chamber of Commerce will be co-sponsoring the event.Blooming Pediatrics is a collaboration between Michal Hovak, FNP-C, MSN, BSN and Coral Montana, PNP-C, MSN, CLC. The practice will focus on well care, sick care, and immunizations for children from birth to 21 years of age, as well as special focus on newborns and lactation counseling. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to schedule a meet and greet with the providers.The new office is designed to create a comforting and calming experience for young patients, with themed examination rooms and plenty of activities to keep children and parents occupied during visits. “Our goal is to remove the fear factor from doctor visits,” said Michal Hovak. “We want the experience to be one the child actually looks forward to.”Blooming Pediatrics office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM and offers after-hour on-call care. The practice is currently accepting new patients.
