MY NAME IS ANIA
Let me share a bit about my journey, and why I am so passionate about helping you through your infant feeding challenges.
As you may guess, my love for all things breastfeeding and mother support was born during my own journey as a new mother. Balancing nursing school with the demands of motherhood, I faced the same fears and uncertainties as you do. I remember the anxiety of wondering if my baby was getting enough milk, the frustration of painful latching, and the overwhelming flood of questions with each new challenge.
Nursing my four children, taught me some hard lessons about patience, persistence, love and pain, but it also taught me about love, joy and the unbreakable bond that comes from a successful infant feeding experience. Currently nursing a toddler, I can easily relate to your experience as you navigate each stage of your own feeding journey.
My decision to become a lactation consultant was solidified as I advanced in my nursing career, working in maternity and labor and delivery. Nothing gave me greater joy than helping new mothers nurse successfully for the very first time. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and spent over 15 years helping more than 5000 families overcome their breastfeeding struggles. Transitioning into private practice, I brought my holistic, empathetic approach to a more personalized level of care.
Every family I work with brings a unique set of challenges and goals. Whether it’s a mother anxious about her milk supply, a baby struggling with latching, or a parent dealing with the complexities of pumping and breastfeeding, I’ve seen it all.
I know firsthand how vulnerable and challenging this journey can be. But I also know the immense satisfaction and connection that comes from overcoming these obstacles. My goal is to provide you with the same support and guidance that I needed during my own breastfeeding journey. I’ve been where you are, and I’ve come out the other side with the expertise to help you succeed.
